Long COVID, Insensitivity from Medical Professional in Replies

To make matters worse, the doctor overseeing the test had 0 sensitivity and 0 knowledge of Long COVID symptoms stated (while I am running on the treadmill just trying to not collapse) that he already made his diagnosis, I am out of shape. Not being able to run and do all the other exercise activities I enjoy has been especially painful, and his insensitive comments really ruined my week. Bleh.

Long COVID, Insensitivity from Medical Professional in Replies

My doctor had me go in for an echocardiogram stress test yesterday to rule out various causes of my Long COVID symptoms. It was absolutely awful, and triggered another down cycle, which is especially inconvenient because this week is so hectic at work. (Luckily I am able to work from home). I barely pulled myself out of bed (almost noon here) and just feel completely awful.

Installing an adblocker is the gateway drug into anti-consumerism, which is in turn the gateway drug into anti-capitalism.

Tell all your friends how to install adblockers.

This is going to be a crazy work at week, so I won't be very active for a bit.

Best day of solar since the system was installed in December. Can’t wait to see how much it can generate during the summer! 🌞

Another great example for me why the #Fediverse is amazing:

In the past years I met @kranfahrer and @JonathanMBR and ofc many more :blobcatgiggle: But with the tree of us we started brainstorming on how we could improve things and we came out on the following!

Since Jonathan lives in Kenya, Africa he first hand knows how though life can be. We realized that with a few bucks we seriously can change lives there in such a dramatic way I am still amazed!

We collect money via the site I host on SchoolForAfrica.org that goes directly to Jonathan! From there on he goes to the schools and universities and setup schooling + housing + daily food for kids who get in♥️

We have done it for a while now and these kids actually got a different life, that’s change! :blobcathearts:

We’re also working on an online education platform that’s filled with free lessons that Jonathan will teach to the kids in the most poorest villages bringing his own laptop also funded by the Fediverse♥️

Thanks for all the positive support from everyone! It’s a bit weird being in a place where you don’t have random people calling you a snowflake or something. Happy to be here!
