What climate change crisis is really about. Spoiler : it's not the climate.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s chief of staff recently admitted that the Green New Deal was not conceived as an effort to deal with climate change, but instead a “how-do-you-change-the-entire economy thing”

@Fatih19 I tend to differentiate between climate change and... the crisis. The crisis is a political tool to align governments and economies according to the ideology of an extreme political perspective.

The conversation seems to go like this: Yield to my demand to align all governments and economies to my extreme position, or else you're an evil denier who should be silenced.

In that context, it's hard to have a fruitful discussion or make progress toward any solution.

@SecondJon I think that's what AOC is doing with the Green New Deal.
