because of the ableism of the psych industry, researchers who discovered this announced that it was us being "too rigid." 😭 autistics are an incredibly important part of any revolution and abled people who value autonomy should know: it is key to have solidarity with disabled people, especially in a world where the powers of the state can disable people and the law gets to decide who is crazy and therefore dismissed as a voice not worth listening to. who benefits we can handwave away everyone we don't like as crazy and see 'crazy' as a random failure and not consistently seen adaptations for coping with social conditions?

if this is what they find out about us going in with a deficit framework, just imagine the contributions and qualities of autistic people we'd be able to recognize and celebrate if we were looking in good faith!

Anyway I've gotta hit the sack. Got no sleep last night as I was looking at the data from the USA elections.
It sort of resembles Tweetdeck, which used to be the best client for multiple social media until Twitter bought them. Now just does Tweeter, but multiple customizable columns.

@burtawicz I'm nearly 60 and decided to do a Master of Analytics degree during a covid downtown. So only now learning Python and R... No cool stories, yet. The last time I wrote code was in C (the original K&R version) in the early 80s. These new languages are so much easier.
Whatever the end result in #election2022 #midterms - The swing away from the Dems is the smallest midterm swing against a sitting President in 40+ years.
@hasmis The first graph shows the trend is still down, and the second shows it's ending this year worse than when it started.
Also, I wonder where the data is from and why the end of the 2021 line isn't close to the beginning of 2022?
