In case of #Delhi #pollution, 40% of it is coming from vehicular emissions. This is a place where people can make an impact, use public transport as much as possible even if there is an inconvenience involved. It reduces pollution as well as traffic.

@kannan
At individual level, changes can be made but harmful spike in pollution post Diwali. Raging farm fires & unfavourable weather. Hot-mix plants & stone-crushers for construction & demolition activities. Coal & fuel-based industries, not yet shifted to natural gas/agro-residue.
'Emergency levels' are pushing people to avoid outdoor exposure & to work from home wherever feasible. Even that isn't helping, because of breathing issues. Solutions must be found to tackle #AirPollution

Natural gas + Agro cannot sustain out powerplants.

The MW output of such plants is way too low to sustain India’s needs.

We need to go full nuclear.

But we have to wait for the communists to stop protesting against nuclear, with their unscientific apprehensions.

Can’t really blame them for being dumb though.
