@bperruche@mstdn.social I get the taste thing. But I don’t see a rational argument later. Mafia, clergy, millionaires, corrupted politicians in tailored clothes have taste for it, but there is no correlation in being a ‘clean’ soul?
Why being sloppy about clothing automatically means someone is sloppy in general?
We all have areas (or times) for (in) which we don’t care much.
It's like claiming that there is a correlation between cleanliness of a desk with scientific accomplishments.
Taste for a clean job desk is ok, but going further and saying there is something not ok with folks with messy desks, they are probably messy in life… that sounds unreal.

Above sounds more like a clothing racism: you have dirty clothes, hence you must have unreliable character
aka you have a darker skin you are probably an uneducated

No strong feelings, just stating disagreement in a civilized manner.
