https://www.fairucnow.org/support/ Lots of support for UC strikers. symbols matter, but it's also rather cheap. glad not to have to make these decisions, but I wonder if profs cancelling final papers or changing exams to be easier to grade undermines the strikers efforts as it signals they are not necessary to providing a quality education.
@cepaea yes agreed, unfortunate trade-offs in the decisions to be made. sadly, my intuition is that withholding grades was more effective than withholding teaching because it's wa what our customers (sorry students) care about.
@HyperadaptHyrax Maybe, but many students support the strike and would be harmed if grades not submitted, e.g. by losing funding or visa.

@HyperadaptHyrax Seems like there are no good answers, no answers that don’t hurt the strike and/or hurt students. I think most are muddling through as best they can.
