Holy moly. I thought this platform was supposed to be the anti nazi opponent? Within 2 hours of signing up- 4 clicks into a #- I’m confronted with an extreme vocal white supremacy tooter. A barrage of anti otherist-whites are under attack- type toots. This is just part of one example. Frankly I’m shocked.
What is the mastodon etiquette of what is/isn’t allowed? What sort of things warrent reporting? I see the report option is there, but I don’t want to faux par on my first day here.

@ErikaDesign me too! I was thinking shit! The first person I had a nice chat with was a fucking racist antisemite. The problem is that unless you click “show more” it just shows the post content not the comment. Anyway I’ll re-follow you. I take it you’ve worked out how to report this? My efforts to find an ethical facebook are doomed. They all seem unworkable techie havens or full of racist conspiracy nuts. Or both
