Hello, friends and neighbors. I've joined the Great Twitter Migration of 2022. There, I followed politics, mainly in response to the fateful election of 2016. More recently, I've drifted toward programming tech in the Javascript realm, and will probably persue some gardening groups here.
Biographically, I fall easily in the catagory of life-long learner, hence my draw to this server. "So many topics, so little time." I pick a topic or three and pursue (or visa versa) with some passion for a few years and move on, usually to return a decade or so later. Geographically: Family origins of southwestern Virginia for a couple of centuries. Retired from small family sign business and recently moved to Potomac valley Virginia.
Physiologically - heavy-set, unshaved, rarely cut hair, kilted, wool knee socks, trail shoes.
Married: 43 years, 3 children, 5 grand-childern
