Erstmals haben Wissenschaftler:innen der #UniLeipzig und anderer Forschungseinrichtungen umfassende Erkenntnisse über das gesamte Nervensystem der Fruchtfliege erlangt. In ihrer Studie beschreiben sie im Detail die Nervenzellen, die das gesamte Nervensystem der erwachsenen Fruchtfliege durchspannen. Außerdem haben sie das Nervensystem eines weiblichen und eines männlichen Tieres verglichen und Unterschiede festgestellt:

For the first time, researchers at #UniLeipzig and other institutions have gained comprehensive insights into the entire nervous system of the fruit fly.
