Hello, all, my name is Trevor, and this is my first real foray into microblogging. I really couldn't see the point of Twitter; I could not honestly care less what the Kardashians are up to, and have no desire to be force-fed.
I'm a software engineer, by trade, and a musician/composer , by passion. I really look forward to some comraderie, and maybe even some collaboration...
@tkturney welcome! I don’t understand the fascination with the Kardashian’s..... and I cannot believe my predictive text just spelled it for me.
What type of music do you compose? I am not currently musician or a composer but I really dig finding new stuff.
@LogicalBird thank you for the kind welcome! I use SwiftKey, which digs through my emails and text for prediction - scary what sort of things pop up...
One of my current obsessions is trying to create orchestral arrangements of populist (to me) songs. "Back in the day," I played and wrote for a band that was kind of geared towards R.E.M., and other sorts of college darlings of the day.
As I get more comfortable, I'll throw some stuff out there for grins.
