@AndyLowry Yes, the FOV is the total width of the image. I have a few that are cropped to a bit less then .5 mm.

That's really beautiful; thanks for posting it. Takes me back to my pre-teen rockhound days.
If the FOV is about a millimeter, does that mean the crystal is slightly less than a mm? Trying to get a feel for the scale.
