Now live! "Rethinking Transparency and Rigor from a Qualitative Open Science Perspective" is in the Journal of Trial and Error special issue on the consequences of the scientific reform movement.
We argue qualitative researchers use a broad range of strategies to ensure transparency and rigor, and the open science movement would benefit from their inclusion!

A systematic review preregistration template is now available on OSF, the first of several community-developed templates to be added.
Key contributions from Olmo van den Akker and @matherion in conceiving the template, and
@katiecorker getting it included.

@eikofried If you are a senior scientist, I'd consider suggesting alternative reviewers among qualified experts who are more junior scientists and scientists from less known places (especially from LMIC countries and other underrepresented groups of reviewers). By doing this you help diversifying the reviewer pool and providing valuable service to the community, and this is the time investment well spent
Too often Black folks, many times #BlackWomen, are tasked with being the voice of #DEI reason in their organization.
Where are those 2020 #diversity initiatives and commitments today? Are those employees even with the company still? Or did they #burnout after realizing their efforts were falling on deaf organizational ears? 🤔 😣

I’m happy to announce that we won a grant to improve #REPOPSI!
REPOPSI is an Open Access repository of psychological instruments that we started almost 3 years ago as sort of a passion project at our Lab, with no funding. So proud of how far we’ve come.💙
Thanks EOSC Future & RDA Europe for this opportunity!

Steven Roberts had the guts to make public the shitty editorial practices of Fiedler at PoPS - amazing bravery. For each public case there are 50+ that go unreported (for good reason). There is *so little* accountability for editors, & some of them are *so bad*. Many eds act in ways that are corrupt, bigoted, & unprofessional. Time to make editors accountable: publish decision letters & reviews, or at the very least give authors explicit right to share them publicly.
