@codepuppy yep! I built a traveling wave tube for my thesis
@ejk @codepuppy Not too many selfies at all:D What did you end up using it for or was it made just for the sake of making one? It is pretty damn beautiful I have to say:)
@Nyoei @codepuppy it was a proof-of-concept device (no end purpose), but the lab was set up to be modular. A postdoc is now using most of the equipment to build a klystron
@ejk @codepuppy So eventually someone could end up creating a particle accelerator as a postdoc project based on your previous work? 😁
