I've seen a few people recently complaining that Google search is becoming worse, but I didn't really pay much attention because people are always saying things.
But twice in the past week I've been unable to find something on Google where it insisted on changing my search term from one which would only return a few (correct) results, to one which would return lots of (identical, irrelevant) results. It's quite jarring after 20 years to be getting better results from different sites.

Hey @nextcloud

your web installer (php) is BROKEN. dependency check asks for PHP 7.3+, I install on 7.4.33; once install is complete, it errors out, requiring PHP8+.

Y'all need to fix this.

So... its been a shitty 6 weeks for me, between work politics, my father having a stroke, (small but real) postal service errors, bronchitis, muscle tears, wrong glasses, PC problems (discord crashes/hangs my machine if anything else is using audio or video), ISP problems, ....Yeah its been 'fun'.

Hopefully I'll be on twitch later to apply some paint for drying.

Wow, a bunch of new followers on mastodon today. It seems that a bunch of people got a push to try it out? ;) ... welcome everyone! I think I will continue crossposting on both platforms. If the interactions on my posts here are bigger than on the "oldsite" I will consider stopping to post over there. It would be an interesting change of pace. :D
