hmm, Jetbrains went to subscription licenses, which sucks butt, but they offer a perpetual fallback license for the version current when you last paid, which is the absolute least-worst way to do subscriptions, so that's nice

Yeah, they started doing subscriptions with automatic perpetual fallback licenses in late 2015. Underrated revenue model IMO.
