I recommend reading this article to better understand the more hostile reactions to your questions:

@Parienve I caught that now.
If such an explanation would have just been given right at the start it would have saved me so much hassle.
One thing that should be understood is that conservative values have almost generally been accused of being racist, fascist etc because their nature to conflict with the newer emerging liberal ideologies so often whether they truly are of this nature or not that every detail of accusation requires extreme explanation.
Take for example the conservative statement "There are only two genders." Such a statement made could easily piss off those with alternative gender ID belief leading to the claim of the person saying the quote to be accused of fascism even though it isn't. True, it could be argued as this person is arrogant by those who believe different but unless said conservative is actually trying to get law passed demanding only two genders are legal it is not really an attempt at fascism just a "jerk move" at best.

@Parienve Just wanted to further explain without detailed explanation alot is up to interpretation.
Take the concept of "x" person/group wants to ban books from schools.
There are countless books that schools themselves ban routinely because
they don't feel such books meet their criteria that's not really that extreme in of itself.
The key point to ask is WHAT books said person/group is trying to ban.
Group A/person A Wanting to ban more adult related topics in an elementary school? Not really extreme or fascist.
Group B/ person B wanting to ban a civil rights book because you don't like black people that is very extreme and fascist.
But until you really look at such all you might hear is both groups want to ban books from schools which is a very misleading half truth.

On the original topic, the short version is that Moms for Liberty tries to get various books removed from U.S. schools that might contradict hyper-conservative worldviews on race, gender, and sexuality.
As for why they get called "Nazis" specifically, a few months ago, one local chapter's newsletter included a Hitler quote. My understanding is that the newsletter was insinuating the *government* is like the Nazis, but it's a very bad look for the group regardless.
