Firstly, I'd just like to say thank you to all the people who have liked, boosted and commented on my images, and to all the new followers I have. It's rather humbling. 😊
Today's shot comes from a magical day in the Scottish #Highlands, a few years ago, when I was photographing red squirrels.
These charming characters are incredibly agile and can jump great distances between trees.
Here I managed to capture one as it appears to be flying down my lens.
This is your daily reminder that you have millions of friends and allies in the EU.
Also, as reality bites, the debate surrounding Brexit can no longer be contained as a Tory psycho drama (though it surely will be that too). I do wish Labour would speak out louder, but I'm happy to hear The Greens being very vocal.
I smell change on the wind.

When even an armband is too much...
When even wearing a love armband is not permitted at #Qatar you know the oil money bought FIFA long ago. Footballers and fans participating in this WC are enabling this 220 billion whitewashing - good to see RTE corr keeping human rights and the way oil politics are running the games in the coverage https://www.rte.ie/news/world/2022/1121/1337317-qatar-day-one/
Absolute disgrace @fifacom @fifaworldcup putting these players in this position. I hope bribery and #corruption at #FIFA re #Qatar is fully investigated. #LGBTQ+ rights and workers rights are #HumanRights

Did you know about the Global South Climate Database? It's a free searchable database of climate experts from the Global South to help elevate under-represented voices on #ClimateChange. Check it out!
Hello everyone. I thought I would use my first post to say hi and share a photo of one of my favorite subjects to photograph, #lightning. I've been capturing lightning images since 2008. You can see more on my website. MikeHall-Photo.com
One of the most successful racehorses of the 1700s was called 'Potoooooooo'.
The most common explanation is that the owner instructed his stable boy to write the name 'Potatoes' on the horse's feed bin.
The boy's poor spelling led to 'Pot', followed by eight 'O's, which amused the owner so much he kept it.
Prompted by @shaungdavey and his post about the excellent #NationalLibraryOfScotland 's online #maps here is my favourite version
