Mapping Crimes in Ukraine

For example crimes of targeting civilian infrastructure
The fact that Russia is choosing to use its expensive, dwindling and hard to replenish supplies of precision-guided missiles to degrade and destroy the Ukrainian energy grid is a very good indication that they are not able to do so with (cheaper) cyber attacks.
Yet another reminder of the practical limitations of offensive cyber, or, at least, the limitations of Russian ability to conduct strategic offensive cyber attacks

For ordinary people the pandemic was a tragedy. But for well-connected VIPs it was the chance of a lifetime – huge fortunes were up for grabs.
This is the cost of cronyism – good administration suffers, efficient buying of PPE suffers.

I am very proud of the work @EveryDoctorUK@twitter.com and @GoodLawProject@twitter.com did together to prove the existence of the VIP lane. This government must be held to account for their actions. https://twitter.com/guardian/status/1595537772093181952

I don't know who needs to hear this but
The postal service exists to deliver letters and parcels to people
Not to make money for shareholders
The transport system exists to move people to where they need to go
Not to make money for shareholders
The water, gas, and electricity supplies exist to provide people vital utilities
Not to make money for shareholders
The healthcare system exists to ensure (and that's ENsure, not INsure) the health of the population
Not to make money for shareholders
Shareholders in vital public services are a vampiric drain on those services
