A little side by side comparison re: engagement. I posted a quick msg this morning about the #Artemis launch here on Mastodon, thought “hey, why not” & posted the same exact message on the birdsite:

Birdsite:
Likes: 0
RTs: 0
# of followers: 41,700

Big difference in engagement both b/c of who I chose to follow/converse with here & birdsite’s algorithm only showing what it wants us to see. It's almost... social...
