The latest ONS data suggests that around i in 5 (that's 20%) of England's population are currently waiting for NHS care/attention of one sort or another.

No wonder dissatisfaction with the NHS is so wide-spread. Pretty much in any group of people in a social occasion or at work, there's going to be someone either on a waiting list themselves or with a family member waiting for treatment.

The crisis in the NHS is going to take a long time to resolve (even with the political will)

Given how many NHS staff before 2016 were from EU countries and how effectively the racist scum in the UK population and in the ranks of the tory party have made them feel unwelcome, I don't think there is going to be a shortcut route for Labour or anyone else to 'improve' on the quality of care due to lack of qualified personnel!

@Paulos_the_fog

yes, sadly I think you are right.... the/that well has been well & truly poisoned!
