@linuxgnome @Paulos_the_fog I feel the same. Every time someone comes up with a Linux only device I know it's gonna be expensive. Not including the pinebook, which to me, is still the best device for it's price.
We still don't know the price of the upcoming tuxedo laptop powered by Qualcomm but I bet it's still gonna be cheaper to buy a copilot pc and install Linux.
@Paulos_the_fog @aral If a 100-200€ Android tablet is sufficient for you, this is probably not a device you need. Good for you.
I spent the last 30 years of my career as an IT consultant and the last 10 years of it as a consultant to the EU so I am fairly clued up on the hardware/software front.
If you need something that powerful I cannot for the life of me see why you would choose a tablet over a properly capable laptop.
@Paulos_the_fog @aral Starlab was once a reasonable price, but they've upgraded the kit (beyond my price range). They have gone the way of all Linux laptop OEMs. Best to buy from like PCSpecialist with no OS and install a Linux distro.
