It puzzles me. So much Covid in the USA. So little in the UK. Did the UK have this wave a month or two ago and it's faded? Or are we just not testing? Or what?

Maybe "Flu or Covid" is the new "Flu or Pneumonia". We get it. It puts some of us in hospital and maybe kills us. But we don't know which it is.

Wonder no more - Trump's management of the Covid pandemic was utterly catastrophic; killing 100s of 1000s of US residents completely unnecessarily. Over 100 died from ingesting bleach as suggested by that fat worlthless cunt!

@jbond

Do you think the orange prick's policies will be any better the 2nd time around then?

Covid could easily mutate, provoking another pandemic. Another virus; more or less deadly, could easily arise - perhaps a deady form of the influenza virus.

@Paulos_the_fog Yes, and Yes. But that's not what I asked. Right now in mid-Jan 2025, UK Gov figures show a low case rate, % positivity after the most recent peak in late Oct, early Nov. By contrast the US peak seems to have happened in early Jan. Is there any particular reason for the difference?
