@ChrisMayLA6 the pump storage at Cruachan which I think opened up in 1963 or 64 is currently being upgraded to increase its capacity from 400 MW to 600 MW.
And there are multiple pump storage projects in the pipeline on the Scottish grid. The Loch Lochy project is for 1800 MW.
