Tom Southerden, Amnesty International UK’s law and human rights director, said: “The ‘new’ powers announced by the Home Secretary today are not new at all – they are a reheat of powers that the last Government tried to push through under regulations that the courts found to be unlawful."

"Is the Government seriously suggesting that people protesting its decisions should only be able to do that a limited number of times? If it is, it is a ludicrous proposal."

I am a radical socialist, as such, I believe in freedom of speech, freedom to protest and much other leftie stuff too diverse to elucidate.

Whilst I don't support any particular political party, I did support Labour's election at the last GE and indeed Starmer's elevation to the Labour leadership - I am now deeply ashamed of myself for not having realised that Starmer was a worthless piece of shit with extreme right-wing views!
