Will net-migration into the UK reach zero in the near future?

Alongside clampdowns on visa availability, the most striking thing is the persistent & slowly growing emigration level - people leaving the country (allowing for some inaccuracies in such data).

The drop in workers' immigration is largely the result of a massive fall in applications for health & care worker visas (approximately down from 400k to 50k over the last two years); student visas have fallen but by much less.

Aren't our governments wonderful - at a time when the NHS is crying out for more staff especially nursing staff, the government maintain in place policy that massively reduces healthcare recruitment into the UK from overseas!

It wouldn't be so bad if they were during money into nurse & care worker training bursaries & support for training places across the NHS...
