Does base R just not have a forward fill function?

@PausalZ there are some workarounds (e.g. https://stackoverflow.com/questions/57682468/how-to-forward-fill-from-numeric-column-based-on-condition-of-logical-column) but I don't think so. There is one in zoo (https://www.rdocumentation.org/packages/zoo/versions/1.8-11/topics/na.locf) and one in tidyr (https://tidyr.tidyverse.org/reference/fill.html) though.
