Hey @pluralistic. wanted to let you and others know that we just bought our copy of #Enshittification from bookshop.org with the plan to donate it to our local library after we read it.
BUT THE BOOK THEN DONATE TO YOUR LIBRARY. Then, later, buy a copy to keep.
@chertridge @pluralistic may be worth checking with the library whether they'll take it. I tried to donate some books in SF and they said they'd sell them and buy different books with the revenue unless the books were on their list to acquire already.
