This lowkey video shows the first extension of the tram network in Zagreb in over 20 years.

This reconstruction of Sarajevo road will eventually include a new interchange with Zagreb bypass road and a bridge over a large train yard, but by the end of 2025 the tram network will be expanded by 2.25km

This combined road and tram infrastructure project will expand tram service with 4 new stops, for a total of €25 million for the whole project (sans the road bridge over the train yard, marked in blue)

What an incredible bang for their European buck

The second tram expansion project is scheduled to kick-off in early 2025 and it is expanding service on Heinzelova Street with addotional 3.7km of track (from Vukovarska Street to Savišće)!

This project has been pending for years and will be realized with a budget of €48 million.
