Around the same time, GNOME gets an anonymous $1M donation. A week or so later, Microsoft buys GitHub, and who do they put in charge? A former founder of GNOME, the desktop environment of their good buddies at Canonical. A tax free bonus was all that was. DaaS will fail and Azure IoT for Ubuntu is next.
