Hands on hips, draw your elbows in. Tense your chest, observe your skin.
Check out your nipples. Any discharge or crust? Keeping an eye on this zone is a must. If there's a redness or thickness, unusual or strange... get it checked out, if you've noticed a change.

Now's the time to have a feel, and standing up is not ideal. So if you can, lie down on your bed.

Try using some pillows to prop up your head. If they fall to the side, for those with large breasts, roll slightly to the centre, lift them onto your chest.

Fingers together, hands nice and flat. Imagine each breast is a clock, tick around it like that.

Get up in those arm pits, have a squish and a squeeze. This was you will notice a lump with more ease.

If your have a period, then the time to explore is the week after your period, when hormones are more or less low, and breasts have fewer bumps. This increases your chances of noticing lumps.
