I see a lot of misconception about radiation that clearly originate from these public educational materials, which is understandable, as they need to simple and concise. This in turn means they tend to be technically wrong, but close in enough for practical purposes.
E.g. gamma decay emissions being the most energetic radiation type -> most dangerous and hardest to stop.
Or another one of my favourites "We do not know why radioactive decay occurs"

I've been thinking about drafting something like that, but still trying convey means to understand the phenomena in a right way.

What should be addressed? Any other thoughts?
