@STORM haha, no. it’s more about how wonderful Signal is, how she could never go back to “just texting,” and how she’s convincing all her friends to only talk to her on Signal (“it’s hard getting everybody to switch! I keep telling them how great it is!)
@avoidthehack Ohhhh that's great that she's moved over to more secure form of instant messaging. I want to move over but the one thing stopping me is my gf she's currently the only person I use WhatsApp to speak to and she's stubborn on switching... she says she doesn't like the way signal & matrix are she says it feels secretive like we (or myself) are hiding something💀😂 .
@avoidthehack Yeah I hope so I'll just be patient, I plan to really take as much control of my data when I get a new setup and buy the new pixel 7 pro(after theres graphene support). If she still hasn't changed her mind over the next few months I'll just sandbox apps like whatsapp, and I only really use it to talk to her wish me luck lol
@STORM it took a lot of patience and explaining. In time, your girlfriend may come around. :)
