I'm not a privacy expert, a programmer nor anything about 'tech' kind of a thing.

But, I'm interested in it and love to learn it.

Because, they(privacy experts) are opened my eyes about how important it is.

And I wanna say thank you to all of you for that.

@bruhprivacy I can completely relate to this, I'm no privacy expert but due to few great experts I've learnt the importance too. Now the hardest part is convincing my family to switch too !!

@STORM Yeah, that's the hardest part. And I think it does take time, but for me it's not too hard to convince my family as long as it works.

Like for example, they have to use a signal to communicate with me, so they're okay with that.

But still, they can't throw away apps from big companies like "whatsapp" because their friends still use it to communicate.

@bruhprivacy Yup I'm sadly still on whatsapp because my gf refuses to switch over currently

@STORM well good luck bro, Don't give up on preaching kindness and the importance of privacy.

Hope that at the right time and situation, your gf will want to use privacy focused app like signals, Fediverse, proton, tutanota, etc.

And indeed just like you said, it will be difficult, because I myself still having difficulty replacing some applications from big companies, such as twitter, windows, and this phone android😅.
