Ok folks, I have it. I have the answer.
For those of us who don't like the term "The AI" or "An AI", I propose:
Automated Software System (A.S.S.)
e.g. "My ASS created this art".
If you find that gives ASSes too much autonomy (fair criticism), then you can try:
"I used my ASS to create this art".

Microsoft & NVidia have an ASS so big they called it Megatron.
According to the scaling hypothesis, there might be no limit to how big an ASS can get, as long as there's enough data to feed it.
A few years ago I'd written crossbrowser webextensions to replace all instances of "Artificial Intelligence / AI" on any webpage, with "Data-Driven Methods / DDM". I've now updated this to replace it with "Automated Software System / ASS".
