Another cool project that started out here on the #Fediverse is #SchoolForAfrica 
Together with @JonathanMBR and @kranfahrer we started a funding project for the poorest kids in #Kenya, Africa
In the time we've done this many kids now have a chance for a brighter future! We collect money online and go by the schools to get as many kids in for 4 years including housing and food on a daily basis

Don't get me wrong, I freaking love rockets and space but for what I've seen..
We can do so much more with so little money. I'd rather do that ❤️
@stux We need to learn to take care of ourselves and our planet first, before we can reach for the stars.
Otherwise, we’ll continue to make the same mistakes out there.
@STORM @ramsey @stux there are many technologies developed for and from space programmes that actively help us have more sustainable technologies. It’s not a case of one or the other.
THAT SAID.. I do not expect that Musk has the same scientific “greater good” ethical direction as folk like ESA and NASA 🤔
