One thing I don't understand is the people who are heavily against vaccines because "oh me oh my vaccines can cause autism". I mean even if autism really was a possible side effect it still can't be the worst that could happen after all

Are you or a child diagnosed with autism? I suppose going blind wouldn't be the worst thing either. Or losing a limb. Hopefully that's not the standard we have to use to weigh pro VS. con.

(I'm not positing a causal link, just responding to the "well, even if it's true, it could be worse, so the objection doesn't matter even if true" argument)

Thanks, that helps with the context. I think the logic would go both ways. For example, getting chicken pox isn't the worst thing either. I'm a survivor.
