So...if someone is seeking asylum, they accept it in the first country they enter that grants it to them, if it's not granted they move on.

I understand wanting to be in another country, but is it asylum if one left a safe country to go to there? I'm not sure what qualities as official asylum.

For example, if someone went to Canada, was granted asylum, they wouldn't legitimately claim asylum in the US unless Canada was unsafe for them as well... Is that right?
