Denver rejects proposal to replace police department with "peace force"
The #Denver City Council on Monday evening voted 11-1 to reject a proposal that sought to replace the police department with an unarmed "peace force."

There's a lot to like here in Denver. Hopefully taking a few of the kids up a 14er this weekend.
But the cost of living is high and it's less friendly than it used to be.
It used to be politically purple, but has gone pretty far too one side, too the point that anyone with a non left bumper sticker can expect to get their car keyed in any metro area. I have friends who have understandably moved away.
