Any enterprise still using Accellion or Solarwinds is either incompetent or believe they are fully mitigated through other means. Either way, supply chain attacks look to be the flavor of the year

@Sehfault dude I'm not from the USA but I anyway have a question where to store my money? As an actives? As a property (landlording)? Bitcoins?

@borrof banks in the US are not inherently insecure and all reputable banks are insured by the US government for up to $250k per account. If you have $1 mil split across 4 accounts at the same bank and that company gets pwnd, you don’t lose any money.

@borrof the hardest part is maintaining anonymity while banking in the US. All financial institutions require your social security number to open an account so big brother knows where you’re keeping your money. That’s where things get a bit grey

@Sehfault my government knows all about me, so I'm happy that the way it comes in the USA is not as same as in my country

@borrof I’m not too fond of my government knowing all about me. I would prefer they knew just as little as needed, and let me go about my business. Unfortunately it’s harder and harder to be fully anonymous without making extreme sacrifices but that’s just the times we’re in I suppose
