What is the next big creative/xr/visual/data/games challenge?

After something like live nerfs, is there an impossible technical frontier?

@Soylentgraham I mean... I think the core thing that hasn't been solved at all with all these new generative techniques is synthesis with the same control/specificity as manual authoring. Like.. I can either have a capture of -exactly- a thing. Or a pseudo-random 'thing in a category'. There's a massive empty gulf in the middle.

@antonhand like, tweaking the output?
I kinda assume that will come, people will want to use it as more than concept art. But is there something these things can't make? (Can easily see animations coming, or 3d)
The generative stuff isn't appealing as a challenge to me (as in, i think that whole stuff is on a roll and sorting itself out, no room for me :)
