@lritter as do quite a lot of US software engineers (and they are earning that on salary, whereas lawyers typically charge only for billable hours)

@lritter US earnings are often pretty insane by other places standards 🤷♀️ In context though, lawyers aren’t compensated all that outlandishly (and the level of debt people take on for law school is often extreme)
