@sciencebase Ours had the extra name of 'Wiggins'. I think it meant there wasn't a bath of water for it to sit in and seal it.

@sciencebase I understand you can measure how much total gas has gone through it from displacements. Maybe that was it.

@sciencebase There was one opposite my office, for BOF gas (CO) collection. It was always called the 'gas holder' though. Up and down like a whores's drawers it was.

@sciencebase That Penguine bloke in Batman would have been better off as an Albatross. Penguins are a bit daft.

@alx Have you got Rosemary planted by your back door? It is reputed to help keep witches away and you can make focaccia with it anyway.
