I'm torn between wanting to be able to focus on something for a decade and get really good at it while at the same time already missing all the jumping around and dreading the potential boredom that comes with having just one topic. If that makes any sense.
@theADHDAcademic A decade or two?!? I struggle with focusing on one topic for more than 5 years . That's professionally, of course. I cycle through my hobbies on a monthly basis these days.
@catsnkittens@botsin.space mine was super bity as well when he was kitten. It's partially in their nature but I wanted to prevent him turning into a biting adult. I read somewhere that it helps to make a whining sound, every time he bites, to indicate it hurts. If he doesn't stop, don't shout or punish, but instead immediately remove yourself from the area/situation, either by turning your back for at least a minute and ignore completely or leave the room. Very annoying in the short term, but it worked like a charm within a few weeks.
