In a video taken aboard the International Space Station (ISS), astronaut Scott Kelly can be seen extracting a floating ball of water from a tank. He then adds a few drops of food dye to the water, turning it green. Finally, he drops an effervescent tablet into the water, causing the ball to bubble and fizz as the tablet dissolves. The gas bubbles cause the water to deform and move around, creating an amazing visual effect.

In the picture, the black ball is moving in a straight line in the inertial frame of reference (upper part of the picture). However, the observer (red dot) who is standing in the rotating/non-inertial frame of reference (lower part of the picture) sees the object as following a curved path. This is because the observer is also rotating, and the Coriolis and centrifugal forces are acting on the object.

A recent survey by Nature found that over half of scientists have reduced their time on Twitter in the past six months, and 7% have stopped using it altogether. The survey also found that 46% of scientists have joined other social-media platforms, such as Mastodon, Bluesky, Threads and TikTok.

Quantum Entanglement in 6 Points:
1. Quantum entanglement is a fundamental principle in quantum mechanics.
2. Quantum entanglement: connection of two particles at a distance.
3. changing one will instantly trigger a change in its partner, even if it was on the other side of the universe.
4. This connection is instant, doesn't rely on speed of light and cannot be explained by classical physics.
5. Einstein referred to quantum entanglement as "spooky action at a distance."
6. Quantum entanglement's practical applications are being studied and developed, uncertain availability in the future.
