@Unit for example, there were things going around that Nintendo paid a considerable amount of money for the Sega Genesis stuff, which is kind of crazy when you consider that Sega is one of the rare companies still willing to release huge old games compilations, like they did on all recent consoles. Which is also crazy considering these compilations often drops to 20$ or you can get it all for 20$ on steam, plus the Steam workshop is full of barely hacks and piracy and Sega doesn't give a shit
A lot of these games are nearly literally given by Sega, yet, the licensing cost was considerable. Imagine for any companies that would give more than half a shit than Sega? Yeah...
If you check the Capcom games on the Snes library, it's basically more or less the Capcom forgotten series they haven't maintained properly
Square don't want to license their games for cheap and they're releasing FF1-6 "Pixel Remaster" all in 1 on Switch
While old Data East shit you barely knew existed that they never re-release themselves and Nintendo handles it all probably goes for peanuts
That's the problem of this service vs Wii/Wii U VC
