I’m also in fintech, I am optimistic about my company’s response to layoffs. I am worried for new grads looking for tech jobs however. If they were half as anxious as I was, layoffs and hiring freezes may leave many new grads discouraged…

Luckily, most of my underclassmen have good local options to choose from, and I hope big tech layoffs mean smaller companies can compete in gaining and retaining new talent.

Everyday it seems that hard times get harder, so make sure you have people you can confide in.

Spend time with people that make you smile and that you want to make smile.

Support them and let them support you.

Community is everything.
