@A_C_McGregor Yes. Except it's fake. I'm no Tory fan, but there's enough real shit they've spread around without needing to resort to making things up.

Indeed, there's plenty of other things to critique without inventing them.

@darwinwoodka @VoxDei @A_C_McGregor

Doesn't matter if it's fake. It still sums up what it feels like to be on this island. The doctored version does that much better than the original imo.

Can't see anything wrong with subverting Tory propaganda.

@keith @darwinwoodka @A_C_McGregor If you say that's what you're doing, sure. If you claim it's truth then you're just contributing to the degradation of political discourse in this country.

You don't beat the liars by lying more. That just lets them argue everyone's the same and who cares if I have no integrity, because neither does my opponent.

@keith @darwinwoodka @VoxDei @A_C_McGregor of course it matters if it's not true. Otherwise it's just pointless propaganda that can easily be disproved. Truth matters.

@VoxDei @A_C_McGregor How do we know which is the right version? The article doesn't say (even putting "original" between quotes).

@jack @A_C_McGregor Well, the article describes the side-eye as being missing from the original, and once it's been pointed out it does look pretty fake...

@VoxDei @jack @A_C_McGregor Also, all the glasses at GBBF are marked (with the name of a prominent Brexit sponsor) and there are any number of other pictures of the photo op that show the logo on the glass.

It’s a fake, I’m afraid.
