(new to me anyway lol)
The Three Body Problem by Cixin Liu.
This one's been on my to-read list for quite a while. I'm about halfway thru (switching back & forth btwn audiobook/library book bc I'm weird like that).
I'm really into it. The whole thing is fascinating - deep, complex, thought-provoking, mysterious, mind-bending. It's honestly like the epitome of really cool sci-fi.
Always such a thrill to find a book that just pulls you in, y'know?

@MelsGarden I loved the trilogy, plus I thought the cultural difference between a Chinese and a western author came out a number of times. It was fairly frequent that he'll say something like "This happened and the population just did this" that made me think "Really? Just like that?"
The man himself is problematic, mind. He's an apologist for what's going on in Xinjiang.
