i keep seeing all these toots saying you can't #search on here or you can only search for hashtags. but when i type words into the search field and it works just fine. i'm using the website, not an app. maybe that's it?

I honestly don't know what the issue is. I think people are just recalcitrant, and I get that. I'm just sad because these are the people we're going to lose when Twitter implodes.
