@War_Kittens That would be fine. Also consider setting every post after the first one to 'Unlisted' posting status (click the Earth icon beneath the post window for post visibility choices).
That way you're not filling up the local & federated timelines with a lot of posts in a short period of time. Just mention in the first one that later posts are unlisted and anyone who sees it go by can link through to the post to see the updates.
